Where's Me Jumper?
Dec. 24th, 2011 09:33 amApart from one reading in the normal range, all through the week of monitoring my blood pressure remained high. So it looks like tablets. Dropped the machine off at the surgery after work on Thursday, where the girl at reception said she wasn't able to book any appointments there and then so I'd have to phone in yesterday morning. I'm booked in for Friday 6 January.
Drove over to Eden Vauxhall yesterday morning for the car's annual service. After checking in, wandered across to the nearby Asda in search of a New Year card. They didn't have one. The queue in the café was a mile long, so I headed back to the garage and sat with my iPod on for the hour and a half until my car was ready while a friendly lady offered me a complimentary cup of tea. No work needed on the car, although I was warned to watch out for low tread on one of the tyres.
Spent the evening doing the assignment for my maths course with Nativity! on BBC2 in the background, taking a break for Morecambe and Wise Christmas Show 1980 on Five.
