Apr. 9th, 2010 03:52 pmLast night I did some Google research and found that the volume problem is one that sometimes happens with nanos, as they stop recognising when earphones are plugged in. So went to Argos this afternoon to report the problem; at first the saleslady said she'd have to send the iPod away to be fixed, as it was bought over 30 days ago so didn't qualify for an exchange. The thought of weeks on end of spreadsheeting in dead silence brought me out in hives; maybe the lady spotted the wave of trepidation coming over me, as she then said that while she wasn't supposed to give me a replacement, she would. They didn't have any black models in stock, so she offered me a silver one for £3 extra - and recommended that I take out three-year insurance for £30 in case this one ever needed replacing.
Just finished uploading my library to the new iPod.
