Went to see the Lee Players' production of Take My Husbands, Please this evening. A very amusing play, and the cast all performed very well, especially Alison Fullbrook as the heroine. My only quibble was that although I was sitting in the back row, I heard the prompter loud and clear - if she'd been just a tad quieter, she'd still have been of use to the cast while not intruding. Amanda was listed in the programme as assisting with the raffle (I wish she'd start performing again) but I couldn't see her. At the interview I asked the raffle lady if Amanda was there, and she said no, "she's not on duty tonight", but promised to say I'd asked after her.
