Went over to Aunt Cynthia's this evening for her birthday family gathering. My cousin Sam was down from Worcester; lovely to catch up with her, we spent nearly an hour exchanging travel tales - she loves small-town America, away from the tourist magnets. I made sure I was there for the beginning so no-one would mind my slipping away to be home in time for TNA iMPACT! - Aunt Cynthia did ask "Couldn't you have recorded it?" as I was missing her unveiling the nibbles, but in truth I've eaten too much these last three days already. I accepted her offer to wrap me a slice of her Christmas cake.
