Nov. 20th, 2006 04:45 pmWork today, in as a swap for Lorraine who works on the other side - granting me access to their nibbles table, which today had luxury chocolate biscuits :D
Cathy stopped me on my way to coffee break and said "You were at David Essex, then." I confirmed I was; she said she'd been there too, we agreed on what a great performance he'd delivered and I told Cathy she should have come up and said hello. She explained she'd only got a brief glimpse of me.
Passing the swap board, I saw someone called Naomi, from the other side, was wanting to swap out of next Monday and onto next Thursday. I'm free next Monday - I had a feeling me ma and I were down to attend something in the daytime, but it was definitely the sort of thing she can do alone - so I asked Marilyn which one was Naomi, and she sent me over to her. When I showed Naomi the swap request that I'd taken off the board, and she realised I was able to do the swap, she was over the moon :)
The bus home from Fareham was snarled up in traffic most of the way - turned out to be caused by roadworks, making the traffic coming in each direction wait alternately at lights. Didn't get home till after 4.
