Someone purporting to be Sarah Dawn Finer DMd me on Instagram saying she was looking for love, with someone who will love her for who she is and not for her fame and reputation. Truth be told, the moment that message arrived it set alarm bells ringing, and I messaged the real Sarah Dawn Finer asking her to confirm whether it was her … but for a few fleeting minutes I did wonder whether I might be ‘Mr Finer’ by the next Eurovision …
A hour later, the real Sarah confirmed it wasn’t her and asked me to report the impostor, which I was glad to do, blocking her into the bargain. (That’s if they even are a her.)
In other news, a Christmas card from Jules and Alice showed up today, containing a National Lottery scratchcard. I won a fiver.
