eiffel_71Was haring up the steps back to the TU after coffee break when a guy I passed said "Is that a Hawks shirt?"
I turned back to face him. He looked at the HWFC badge on my T-shirt and nodded. "I thought it was a Hawks shirt."
I asked whether he was a HWFC fan; he was. His name was Nigel. We talked about the team's fortunes so far this season, and he said he'd be going to the Farnborough match tonight.
"Might see you there, then."
Pretty momentous meeting another Hawks fan somewhere other than a match. Nice to know I'm not the only one in the office.
