Any penalty shoot-out involving Germany, you just know what will happen. With 5-4, I knew straight away the last French kick would be missed. It's a cosmic law.

I wrote on Twitter, "Natze, that one's yours!" when the last French player walked up to the spot. What an irony it was her to miss, since she had performed that dive earlier in the game.

Germany vs USA is another one I didn't want to see BEFORE the actual final. OH. BOY.

I like match outcomes that are totally unpredictable. Makes watching the game more enjoyable - like last night's and today's upcoming one - although these games tend to give me heart attacks! :)))
