Back Again

Saw the practice nurse this afternoon. After getting me to raise my arm high into the air and touch the back of my good shoulder with it, she diagnosed aggravation of my muscle strain from January, brought on by lifting at work and sleeping awkwardly on that side. She advised me to take two ibuprofen three times a day. I told her how I once bought a pack of Nurofen then read in the instructions "do not take with high blood pressure medication"; she said ibuprofen was compatible with Ramipril and that Nurofen was expensive, so buy supermarket ibuprofen which is a third of the price.

Oh good. I am so glad you saw the nurse and she was able to help you. I'd get my blood pressure checked daily, though, because Ibuprofen can still cause it to rise slightly. It will probably be OK but best to monitor it regularly while on the meds. :)
