This morning Briony confessed that she'd missed it - "children got in the way". I said to make sure she watched tomorrow night, and she admitted a part of her wanted Jedward to win the whole thing - not because she's a fan of theirs but because everybody knows RTE don't want the expense of staging it again.
Meetings, meetings, meetings at work today. One of them threw up an unexpected Kirsty reference. The visiting speaker, who was talking about something called the 'Elvis Project' which is designed to fight identity theft, put up a slide with a picture of Elvis and said he didn't know if it stood for anything. Someone from the floor contributed a convincing-sounding acronym, and he thanked her, adding that his theory had been that it came from the song There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis. With a click he added a picture of a chip shop to the frame - alas, he didn't say who sang the song.
