eiffel_71Hawks match called off today - waterlogged pitch. Quelle surprise. So I moseyed on down to Privett Park for Gosport Borough v Clevedon Town - and met three other Hawks in search of a Saturday non-league fix, Mark, Ade and his little daughter Rose. There was a pretty good beer on tap, club-branded 'Boro Ale' made by the town's Oakleaf brewery. We passed the match avidly following the performances of Gosport's two ex-Hawks, Super Jimmy Taylor and Jamie Ford, and chatting football and cricket. And Boro won 3-1.
