eiffel_71Having booked today as official holiday in case we'd drawn with Droylsden and had to go up there last night, then broken a bit off a filling in a back tooth a few days ago, I didn't cancel the day's leave but rang the dentist first thing this morning to see if they could fit me in. They got me an appointment at 12.40, but the dentist said he couldn't see anything wrong with my tooth. He concluded that I must simply have broken off an excess bit of a filling, because the tooth looked complete to him.
So used a holiday for nothing, although at least the dentist didn't charge me and I do have plenty of stuff to catch up on - and not having to get up early was a blessing after a late night out at the footie.
