eiffel_71Was halfway through a batch of work this morning when my PC sent up an error message. Spent long parts of the rest of the day standing by or drinking coffee while two IT technicians tried all manner of fixes on my machine. The first time they reinstalled the whole system for the application I'd been working on, that led to a different crash. An hour later they ironed that wrinkle out - only for the original error to resurface. Finally they fixed the problem by abandoning attempts to resume the piece of work where I'd left off and resetting it, sending me back to the beginning. Got through it with no further hitches.
