Driving lesson. For the first hour I pretty much made a pig's ear of everything, though Peter then said a lot of people have off days. At that point, and again at the end, he said my main problem was needing to prepare for and react on situations earlier. He said, as he has been for months, that he wants to leave me to do more things for myself without prompting, but then for much of the last half hour he gave me prompts that I didn't need when I already knew what to do. My only real triumph was a good parallel park, though at the end, after Peter repeated the bit about preparing and reacting earlier, he did say a few of my junction and light approaches had been good, so try and do all of them like that.
