eiffel_71My Statto job is ending after all. Today was always going to be the crunch, the first Saturday under the new system. The new website involves a lot more typing, and I'm no touch typist. My two-fingered input was hopeless when trying to keep up with the flood of incoming goals, attendances and full-times. In the time it took me to input one goal, five more came in. So I'm just to keep it up till Wednesday then the webmaster, who's coming back to England this week and can touch type, is going to take over on Saturday.
It makes sense me giving it up since I was just too far behind with the news for anyone's liking, but I'm going to miss the extra income. My credit card bill will take a year and a half to pay off now, and though I'm getting my Saturday afternoons back I've no available funds to attend matches so will be spending them sitting around indoors. And my plans to see a 10am screening of Slumdog Millionaire tomorrow morning have become the first casualty of cost cutting. Though I have to be happy with Hawks getting a point against AFC Wimbledon.
