Just been to see Kat Perrio at the Windsor Castle. I stationed myself at a table where, on the far side, someone had abandoned a half-finished glass of wine; several guys, passing by, said to me "She's left you, mate." Kat delivered another fine set, although many of my own favourites from her previous performances were omitted. She still did Summer of '69 and Torn though, and when she closed the first half with Big Spender she wandered round the pub flirting with various men, and included me. Only about half of those present were really interested in Kat's performing - I had to put up with endless chatter around me while she was singing - and there were no encounters with local celebrities or old school pals this time, but as this is the only one of three performances the lady is giving before Christmas that I could have got to, I'm glad I was there to support her.
