Angie and clan didn't make it to Westleigh Park for the AFC Telford United match. Hope the move went without a hitch.

Glorious sunshine all afternoon - just a shame the game didn't match it. Telford started the game in physical mode, picking up two bookings in the first ten minutes and crocking Charlie Henry, who was subbed soon after - someone in the stand shouted "It's a friendly." Meanwhile Ian Simpemba drove a lovely bullet header into the net from a free kick on six minutes only to be ruled offside. The game settled down after that, but Hawks played with little apparent desire and the defence was often found wanting. Sergeant Wilko hit the bar just before the half hour but Telford dominated and went in front when an unmarked striker tapped in from close range early in the second half. Hawks did stage one attack and get into the Telford box, but Jamie Slabber hesitated and was dispossessed. We salvaged a lucky draw when a Telford defender handled in the area with a minute remaining and Jamie Collins converted the spot kick.

If we play the way we have done this week all season, forget about promotion - we'll be lucky to make the top ten.
