A nice easy trip to West London - just the short train ride to Harrow & Wealdstone and a bus - for Leyton Orient Women away to Actonians, at the Middlesex FA's smart new ground. The sleek clubhouse served Old Mout cider - I went for a berry and cherry, once I'd pointed out to the barman where in the freezer they were as he said they didn't have them. I ordered a chicken burger, and after a ten minute wait was served a cheeseburger. Happily they exchanged it without complaint.

No Lisa F or Lydia this week, alas. But we did see an exciting game that ended 3-3, Sophie ended her goal drought, and Neil and a guy called Gary kept us updated on the Reading v West Ham Women's FA Cup Semi-Final in entertaining style. Neil sang some songs for Orient including a few chants for individual players (though his favourite, Chloe M, wasn't playing today so his song for her wasn't aired). After a few minutes of his singing, Groundhopper Dave asked Neil which section he was sitting in at Wembley - so he could avoid him.
