Relax

Been getting the occasional little pain on the left side of my chest over the last few days. Where I've had congested nasal passages for over two weeks, I wondered if it might be a chest infection, but given my blood pressure problems the thought was always at the back of my mind that it might be my heart. So went to see the nurse late afternoon. She listened to my chest and said it was clear. Then she rigged up the machine around my arm for a blood pressure reading - thankfully it's getting better, 130/82. The nurse, very friendly and understanding throughout, concluded that the congestion and chest pains were just residue of a cough and cold and muscle strain. Phew.

Nice to know the weeks of being good have paid off. Decided I'd earned a bonfire night treat of sossies and chips (well it is British Sausage Week) from the mobile chippy.
