Breakin' Away

On a week's leave, thank goodness. Travelled down to Gosport on Saturday. Keith had organised a skittles evening at the Crofton that night; I'd been pressed into service to compile the quiz again. After complaints in past years about the quizzes being too hard, I'd made this year's a tad on the easier side. It worked, there were no complaints this time and the winning team scored 19 out of 20. Vanessa came and sat next to me and we spent most of the evening catching up. I never found out who won the skittles, though a fug induced by two pints of Old Rosie might have had something to do with that.

Rest, relaxation and the Non-Stop Top 40 from this week in 1975 on Replay Radio yesterday, then today headed back to Bedfordshire in readiness for tomorrow's check-up at the dentist's.

After an excellent butterfly chicken breast at the Heath Inn, tuned in early to Pennine 235 and happened on an excellent Non-Stop chart from 1986. When the Classic Retro Countdown came on, though, it was the one from two weeks ago :(
