Mar. 10th, 2010 07:19 pmIntermediate Excel course today. There were just five of us on this one, including my former colleague Sally, a last-minute replacement for someone else in her department who'd actually left the office since booking on the course. Amanda, today's tutor, was another friendly lady and there were no mix-ups over coffee tokens this time - at the very beginning she said we'd have a coffee break mid morning, so I asked if she had tokens and she said yes, there was one each for the morning and one each for the afternoon.
Like the Word course, it was very interesting and informative and I learned plenty of new tricks that hadn't been covered on the ECDL. One lady asked if we could have just half an hour lunch break so we could get away at 4 pm, half an hour before the advertised finish time; we only took a half hour lunch break but still ended up carrying on till 4.30 anyway. Popped up to the telephone unit for a chat/mild flirtation with Julieann till the bus came.
