Stopped by Jane's desk this morning to join in her I'm A Celeb chat when she asked when I was planning on moving. I said New Year, and she tipped me off that one of the other ladies in her section has a self-contained flat attached to her house, in the Fareham area, that she's thinking of renting out after Christmas. So in the afternoon I went over to talk to her. The place sounds really nice. My prospective landlady mentioned that they have several animals, and asked if I'd be all right living around livestock; I said that would be fine, and Jane joked that I'd have to feed the chickens first thing every morning. We talked about a few things, though didn't mention rent yet, but January suits her fine and the place sounds perfect. I'm going to see it on Friday afternoon.
