Driving lesson. Open road driving OK. Early on Peter called me for bringing the clutch up too soon when changing gear, causing clunking, so I was more careful after that; also for months I've been slowing just to around 14-18 mph to change to second gear, then today Peter told me it had to be 10 mph. At the end he said my only main problem was slowing down too early when approaching turns and junctions; I should slow down later and faster. Manoeuvres not too bad; still came round too wide the first time on the reverse round a corner, then steered too much the other way and hit the kerb, but the second time was better.
