Driving lesson this morning. More work on manoeuvres this week, since we did hardly any last week. Peter made me try the reverse round the corner three times, after my first attempt resulted in me coming round wide and my second had me mounting the pavement. On my third go I managed to avoid doing either of those things, but it was still a mess. My turn in the road and bay park would have been fine if I hadn't stalled on both thanks to coming off the clutch too much. On the open road driving, he started calling me on a lot more little things than he has done before, explaining that I need to get out of bad habits before doing my test. A recurring theme was not anticipating pelican crossings soon enough, coming to a quick stop just before we reached them. And he still reckons I'm not slowing down enough approaching junctions and roundabouts. He did give me a book on the theory test to do some revision, although actually doing my test remains a distant speck on the horizon.
