Dec. 23rd, 2008 02:44 pmOur internet connection at home has been down since Sunday evening, so I'm posting this in the library at work before starting my late shift.
Driving lesson this morning. The first 25 minutes were an absolute disaster and I was ready to write the day off, but from that point on my open road driving didn't go too bad and I pulled off an OK bay park. Presumably because of my lousy start, Peter abandoned plans to introduce me to the delights of parallel parking this week. Out in the car park on the seafront we had a run-through of what's what under the bonnet and tyre roadworthiness and pressure. And I did an OK turn in the road.
Once we'd finished, walked round to Cathy's to drop her Christmas card in her letterbox then moseyed up to the chippy for lunch.
All I want for Christmas is mobile broadband.
