The episode of Kenny Everett I've been waiting for wasn't one of the ones shown tonight :(

On the bright side I've just seen my beloved Aisleyne, who's appearing in this week's Halloween horror serial 'Dead Set' on Channel 4 - and very good she was too, outshining most of the professional actors. The premise is that Britain is being overrun by zombies and so the BB housemates, sealed off from the carnage outside, are marooned in the compound. Seeing Davina McCall turned into a zombie was very apt! If only we'd seen BB producer Sharon Powers getting eviscerated in as gruesome a manner as possible.

Got to go hit the hay, bloody earlies tomorrow.

A fortnight or so ago, I finally found on eBay a 10" single of Denise Gyngell's version of You Broke My Heart in 17 Places - one of the divine Miss MacColl's finest lyrics, but written by her specially for Tracey Ullman. I'd heard great things about Denise's rendition but had given up trying to find a copy years ago, until while idly surfing a couple of weeks back I thought I'd tap it into Google, and hey presto, my prayers were answered, and for a not unreasonable price.

Today I have my record, and a very good job Mrs Waterman does too. How can all this brilliant music be so little known?
