My bus was late arriving at Fareham today. As I waited, Jade, who's working on the buses doing market research, got off an incoming bus, so she came over and said hello. The bus she was due on next was also delayed, so we passed the time chatting until mine arrived.

There was a tin of Celebrations on the table next to the supervisors this evening, with a message saying 'Merry Christmas from Karen, Cathy, Rosemary and Heather [the Monday evening supervisors]', and another tin provided by the clerical team. Lovely jubbly.
