To Westleigh Park to see Hawks Ladies beat Newport Pagnell 22-0. No, that's not a typo for 2-0. It was surreal. To add to Newport Pagnell's woes, one poor girl took a bad hit in the back late in the first half and lay motionless on the pitch. Thankfully our people were quick to phone for an ambulance and one arrived quickly. As we were waiting, Rita, who was talking to Lisa, wondered whether the match would have to be abandoned; Lisa pointed out that we have floodlights (they weren't needed in the end, thanks to the prompt arrival of the ambulance) and I added "We can't make these poor girls have to come all the way down here again".

Still on the antibiotics (last day) so Coke for me in the clubhouse. At half-time, the satellite telly was showing Christina, Pink, Kim and Mya's video for Lady Marmalade *mwah*
