Hawks Academy at home to Exeter this afternoon. Malc wore his Plymouth shirt to try and wind the Exeter lot up. The tea hut was open, so was able to sample a jolly good bacon roll. Shaun Gale, just unveiled as the new first-team manager, was in the stand with several club officials, and Simon was also there - but sadly no Trevor - so throughout the game there was a lot of chat about the goings-on at the club over the last few days. Someone mentioned that Graham Rix had been among the hopefuls who applied for the manager's job, which led to a couple of off-colour jokes. Some girlfriends of our Youth lads turned up for a snatch of the game, drawing "Here come the WAGs" from Malc when they arrived, and "The WAGs are going shopping" from Simon when they left. Lee Bradbury, the Bournemouth striker who lives round our way, was seen in the ground during the second half, and Galey went for a chat with him - Malc promptly said he was going to use that to start a rumour on the message board that Bradbury would be joining us. At the end of the game, on my way out I shook Galey's hand and wished him good luck.

Sitting at home now, as don't have the spare funds to go to the pub for Celtic v AC Milan.
