Oct. 2nd, 2007 10:02 pmDay 11 of my cold and my nasal back passages are still uncomfortably blocked, and there's still plenty of gilbert in my throat (though, despite my coughing enough, little of it is coming up) so made a doctor's appointment for Thursday.
Had to sign my official registration form at college tonight. Interestingly, the form showed the course as ending on 14 July. That's actually a Monday, but if it's taken as a misprint for the Tuesday, that would mean the course ends a week later than the printed guide says - suggesting we may not have a class on 18 December after all. Infuriatingly, Pathenia still had no definite answer on that score. She said she couldn't tell me till after half-term, "because it's only a couple of weeks to half-term". How the fucking Jesus is that a reason why she can't tell me?
Her "couple of weeks" is misleading. Yes, after tonight there are only two more classes before half-term. But the first class after half-term, which is when Pathenia says she'll have an answer for me, is four weeks away. A whole month before I know whether I have to list my Pogues ticket on ebay.
Class went fine, I coasted through template creation and mailmerging. The only hiccup came when we ran out of paper half an hour from the end so we all had to feed our printed assignments from the first class into the printer, to print on the other side. That would have been all well and good if someone hadn't printed their address label exercise just as I'd fed some of my sheets into the tray...
