It was hard going on the phones with my sore throat (and getting a succession of impatient people didn't help). After every interview I headed straight for the water cooler and took two or three conefuls. All that water gave me enough lubrication to see me through the shift, but also meant several trips to the jacks... Thank goodness there were a couple of long newsletters to read in my internal e-mail, keeping me off the phones for a full 25 minutes.
