May. 22nd, 2006 07:00 pmLots of people at the office talking BB and Eurovision this morning! The Finnish victory shocked quite a few, but no-one was surprised that Daz flopped... On my first visit to the cooler Tania, our resident BB addict, naturally called me over for a chat about the new lot of housemates. "I'm a Lisa fan," I announced - that seemed to delight Tania, who immediately shouted across to Rachel to share the news with her. Rachel smiled.
Then Rachel asked if I could do a shift swap and cover Tuesday 4 July for her, when one of her kids is in a school play. As I need Wednesday 12 July off to go to Test Valley's Civic Day, that worked out perfect.
During quiet moments I got to confess my feelings about Miss K2 to Angela and Cathy. Both of them were nice about it; they pointed out her having a boyfriend was a problem, and both advised me to just be friendly to her whenever we meet and see what happens. Chance of meeting her again would be a fine thing...
There was a large bag of 'Party Snacks' - those ones that taste like pretzels but are all sorts of shapes, including one type with sesame seeds on. Over the shift, I scoffed about half the bag. Whoops.
