eiffel_71Back to work this morning, the last thing I was in the mood for, although my spirits lifted as I walked through the gate and remembered we had an Open Briefing this morning... then when I checked my internal e-mail my heart sank to my boots as I read a message saying the briefings had been put back to next month. I'd have to spend the whole shift on the phones after all.
Thankfully the shift wasn't actually too bad, no abusive calls, I got to spend some time away from my booth agreeing shift swaps with a couple of ladies who'd asked for them, there was a quality nibbles table - Cadbury's Eclairs, Starburst (I still think of them as Opal Fruits) and Doritos, and on one of my visits to the front desk Jill engaged me in conversation about tomorrow's Eurovision Song Contest final and Scooch's chances. So mustn't grumble.
