In my hurry to get everything together before leaving for college tonight, I left my can of Red Bull behind in the fridge. So had to settle for a cup of coffee from the vending machine before class. Maybe it's because my system's become used to the Red Bull every week, but I felt strangely tired through the first quarter-hour or so of the class. I did OK, though, breezing through three Powerpoint exercises without a hitch.

I had wondered earlier whether the Red Bull thing had become a superstition, as I'd routinely stuck to it despite Asda's cheaper alternative. If it was a superstition, by doing just as well without the Red Bull in tonight's class I've broken it, and as I've liked other energy drinks like Rhino and Red Rooster just as much, I can now safely switch to Asda's Blue Square at 24p a can.

I am a slave to the Asda stuff now! Trouble is, I keep on going for the litre bottles now.

I always suspect all the imitation brands are made in the same factories anyway, Red Rooster bottles are the same as Asda ones and the stuff tastes the same.

Litre bottles are the only way to go. It's sooooo gooood! If only preggos could drink it!

Sainsbury's relentless is pretty good too - 99p (last time I checked, so about 6 months ago now) for twice the amount of a Red Bull. Identical ingredients too. :D
