Still coughing, and had trouble talking a couple of times, first thing this morning, so rang doctor. The earliest they can see me is Wednesday. Throat less bad as the day wore on, raising the thought that I just might be totally better by the time I get to the doc...

At college tonight, I picked out a long exercise from the pile of Database worksheets. I'd made a start when Joan told me she didn't want that worksheet handed in, so if I wanted I could take it away for homework and do one of the others now instead. I decided to carry on as I'd started, and spent three-quarters of an hour working through the whole exercise - only for Joan to tell me at the end not to bother handing it in. She said the answers appeared along the course of the worksheet, so she wasn't going to bother marking it and told me to check my work against the worksheet myself. I'd been doing that all along, but I'd have still liked my printed sheets marked as they demonstrated my ability to print databases.

Still had time to breeze through two of the exercises that she is deigning to mark, and make a start on a third.

Doctors make me laugh...by the time you eventually get an appointment (a year next Tuesday) you're either better or dead?!
