Just come from a two hour driving lesson. Went onto some new routes for the first time, including a couple of 40 mph roads - all the open-road driving went OK except one time when I spotted a gap in the traffic and made my move out of a junction. I'd timed my exit perfectly, but Peter said I should have waited for the second load of traffic to go instead, as I made my move while a woman was turning into the junction - Peter reckoned I nearly bumped into the back of her. My turn in the road was so-so, and I had to do reversing round a corner three times as I kept going round too wide - even the third time I didn't keep my feet still enough - but I had my first try at bay parking today and didn't do too bad.
