Stayed up all night for the England women's cricket team's comfortable win in the first one-day international in New Zealand. Couple of hours' sleep before the England Women football friendly v Northern Ireland this afternoon. Rachel hosted a Zoom chat. There was only Matt and I who joined her but it was nice to see their faces again, chat about the game and reminisce about England games past. We raised our glasses to the screen for a virtual 'Cheers!' I drank a couple of Revenge Of The Sith Faced from Fallen Acorn - 10.5% imperial stout, was well oiled by the end of the game. Good to see Ellen White score a hat-trick as England ran out comfortable 6-0 winners. Alan joined us for the second half but had no sound, so could only watch us. Crystal missed out as she was at work, so she messaged us later.

It's just good to be back talking and seeing faces again, and to see the Lionesses playing a proper match.
