Don't Speak

Have had sore throat all week, particularly painful yesterday and today, and while it's been full of guk I've been unable to hawk anything up except saliva. Thinking it was a likely chest infection I went to see the nurse after work. She took my temperature (normal), examined my throat and said it didn't look too bad, and listened to my chest. She said my chest was clear, and that I had a cold, with snot from the back of my nose running down into my throat. She recommended breathing in steam, and hot honey and lemon drinks. Could have been worse, I guess.
