Feb. 22nd, 2012 07:15 pmMaria and I both told the team this morning that we're giving up chocolate for Lent. Bev said she isn't much one for chocolate anyway, so she'd be giving up biscuits.
At 12.45 Maria announced to us all that Bev was breaking her abstinence on the first day. Bev asked whether a cereal bar counted as a biscuit; Maria and I gave her the benefit of the doubt.
But at 4.20 I got a text from Bev, who was back home by then : 'I give up, having a cup of tea and just dunked a biscuit in it'.
