Fangs Ain't What They Used To Be

Dentist's after work for fillings in two neighbouring upper molars. They must have been pretty deep ones, because it felt like she went on drilling forever (with pauses). Then she fixed a clamp over the two teeth and had the nurse 'cure' the teeth as she held a large orange perspex disc over me. The clamp managed to pinch a wafer-thin bit of my upper lip against my top teeth : I managed to shake it to comfort. Then at last the fillings went in, but that wasn't the end : 'trimming' the fillings involved another lengthy drilling process. The whole procedure lasted 50 minutes.

Having wisdom tooth out in a week's time.
