Jun. 22nd, 2011 05:31 pmA sign outside the canteen this morning, positioned above a tennis racket and some tennis balls resting on a Wimbledon 2002 tea towel, proclaimed that strawberries and cream would be on sale in the restaurant today.
When I went down for lunch, there was no sign of any strawbs whatsoever. OK, I didn't go down until 1pm so it's possible that the early lunchers wolfed them all, but in that case they should anticipate the demand and prepare enough helpings for us all. Rant over.
