Norvège, douze points
Apr. 1st, 2011 07:50 pmWatched this year's Eurovision preview DVDs today. My favourites are Switzerland, a catchy little love song that, sadly, is the type that usually doesn't get many votes; Spain, a happy singalong number that might have just enough of the cheese factor to please Ann; and Norway, a fusion of 'I'm following my dream and I'll get it' lyrics, dance pop and a Swahili chorus that actually works. Our entry, by Blue, is OK but nothing special and isn't going to pull the votes in. Ireland's, by Jedward, is just shite. Interesting to see Dana International is back for Israel - her song is nice but not a winner - and lovely young Lena from Germany is actually defending her title, but with a more intense brooding song this year.
So that's Norway to win then? Fingers crossed.
