A phone call from a lady at our South Wales office to say I'd won the Christmas quiz. She said she'd stick my prize in the internal mail and that I'd probably get it after Christmas now.

Demelza and I had a riveting chat about cheesy Christmas films until the poor lass, who's been feeling pretty rough all week, went home after an hour and a bit :(

Listened to Christmas songs on the iPod for the last hour or so. The in-ear earphones were meant to stop the sound being intrusive to people around, but Liz said she could hear Stop The Cavalry loud and clear - thankfully she said "Carry on" but I turned the volume, which admittedly had been on full blast, down after that song.

Dropped my car into my cousin's garage for its annual service after work.

One more day to go...
