Jun. 5th, 2010 02:43 pmThe Dmailer online backup completed successfully this morning, some time between 3am and 7.45.
After an hour or so's extra kip, hauled my carcass, via the post sorting office where a large letter to which some fool had attached an ordinary stamp was waiting for me at a cost of £1.10, to Fareham farmers' market to get in two months' supply of local honey (next month's market is the day I fly to Scotland). When I asked for 4 jars of set Fareham honey, the lady said I'd have to put them in the fridge for a couple of days as they've run in the sun. At the bookstall in the regular market, picked up a hardback copy of Simon Kuper's Ajax, The Dutch, The War for £3.
