Oct. 31st, 2009 11:10 amReverse round the corner not too bad this week, just came round a little too wide on the right. I was happy enough just to have not touched the kerb or mounted the pavement. I seem to have got the hang of the turn in the road OK except for forgetting to glance left just before driving off to the right at the end.
Only nine minor faults again on this week's mock test, but once more I committed two failure offences. This time, having just come over the hill between Rowner and Bridgemary I was told to turn right. There are two boxes marked in the middle of the road; the first is for traffic turning in from the side road on the left, while the second is for traffic turning right. Of course I moved into the first box instead of the second. The other blob came right at the end when, approaching a hump, Peter had to tell me to stop to let an oncoming car go by, since her passage on the other side was blocked by parked cars. On the assessment sheet, Peter had given me three in a bed for advance planning and awareness, the area he says I have to work on most. He said I could go ahead and book my test if I wanted, but again I've opted to see how I do in a mock one next week.
