In Boots this morning I bumped into a fellow Hawks supporter who happens to work there. He asked if I'd be going this afternoon - I explained that I had work. He told me how he'd been to Maidenhead on Tuesday night to witness an abject performance and we spent the next few minutes discussing various ideas as to what might be the best way forward for the club. We agreed there's some deadwood in the squad that needs shipping out and that if performances don't improve we should be saying goodbye to Galey this summer. He favoured Andy Sinton at Fleet to replace Gale - good choice.

YAY - JADE WON! The right choice without a doubt. When all the finalists sang our Eurovision entry she alone totally made the song her own. She's got the talent, looks and star quality to make Europe fall in love with her. Actually winning the whole thing is probably too much to ask, but I truly believe she can do well on the night.
