Jan. 29th, 2009 02:28 pmI've always been a fan of The Big Match Revisited on ITV4, but today's included a special treat. Every week they're showing The Big Match from the corresponding week of 1979, and it just happens that 30 years ago this week so much of England was under snow and ice that only a handful of footy matches went ahead. So to fill up programme time, The Big Match showed several long-distance goals scored by Holland at the 1978 World Cup. Fantastic to see them in all their glory again.
