(no subject)

Went to take change from my HWFC rain jacket, draped over the back of my chair, to get a cup of coffee at work this morning when my keys and money all cascaded onto the floor. An inspection showed some of the stitching on the pocket has come loose, creating a rogue escape route. I only bought that damn jacket a month ago today.

My last interview overran to 2.45, so had to hang around for the half past three bus, but I at least got to claim for up to 3 pm by doing my internal e-mail (including forwarding jokes on to people - it's always a delight to get extra pay for that).

Meanwhile it's been rain, rain, rain all afternoon. Got drenched just walking home from the bus stop.

Pah.
