Jul. 16th, 2008 02:06 pmDriving lesson. Today, as well as the quiet few streets I've been going round and round for the last few weeks, we went out into Alverstoke village and along the sea front. I also got my first taste of turning right out of junctions, and right turns. Most of the time I did OK although once or twice I went round right turns too fast thanks to taking my foot off the brake, and twice stalled instead of getting moving after waiting because I forgot to put my foot on the gas. Peter also called me for leaving my foot on the gas during gear changes several times. One time, coasting along the road to the sea front in third, he told me to slow down as I was doing 33 mph - "You don't want to get a speeding ticket before you've even got your full licence." On the whole, though, he thought it went satisfactorily.
