Got home from Westleigh Park last night not feeling too bad. Until I checked my e-mail.

There is a young lady who was once a good e-pal of mine. During '02 and '03 we shared some very good times together (in cyberspace, that is; we never physically met). Since the autumn of 2005 she'd been cooling towards me, for reasons unknown (the only thing I can think of is that I was a little tardy doing a meme she'd tagged me on, it took me 3 days to get round to it). This cooling included not only ceasing to exchange e-mails with me, but also wiping all my comments off her lj within days. Despite that, in the time since then she did accept my friend requests on Myspace and Facebook, although she deleted me on Myspace a few months ago.

I logged into my e-mail last night to discover that she's blocked me on every site we were connected on.

OK, she just put a terminally ill friendship out of its misery. But we had too many good times for me not to be sad, especially coming on top of the events of last Wednesday.

So the last thing I was in the mood for today was a man, who clearly thought that doing the survey once was enough, subjecting me to an angry diatribe. Once I'd got rid of him I hurled my headset at the back of my workstation with some force, prompting a "Some you win, some you lose" from Amanda #2. Just for dessert, later on I got a bloke who refused to do it on the grounds that he "doesn't feel like doing it this year". Give me a break.

Arsebiscuits.

Arrived at college to find an unfamiliar group occupying our usual area, while some of my classmates were setting up in the booths on the other side of the room. I didn't bother asking anyone what was going on; I did notice that the other lot appeared to be having some sort of a presentation with one of those boards with the big sheets of paper that flip over.
